Article: Porsche 911 GT3 R 2012

Presents the Porsche 911 GT3 R in the 2012 version, the latest evolution of this type for the project 997. The 4-liter boxer engine has been boosted to 20 hp and 500 hp it is now part thanks to the new intake system, while the sequential transmission has gained new paddles on the steering wheel and a double system of automatic escalation, thereby making it easier to manage of change in braking. The scaling relations has been changed to take advantage of the increased power and engine power has been installed and a traction control system already experienced officers on the team’s cars in 2010.

The framework foresees a softer front anti-roll bar to reduce understeer. The Porsche 911 GT3 R in 2012 will be available from November at a cost of 304,500 euros, excluding taxes, but Porsche will make available an upgrade kit for versions 2010 and 2011 at a cost of 43,100 euros.
